Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, also called Ari Lennox, a Washington, D.C.-based American singer/songwriter, was signed as Dreamville Records' the first artist of female gender on Dreamville Records by J. Cole. Her debut EP Pho, released was released on the 21st of October, 2016 and was released on Dreamville Records. She began to gain recognition. Shea Butter Baby her debut album was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox has uploaded her music on the internet since 2012 following the release of her debut mixtape "Five Finger Discount" and her EP Ariography. In 2014, Ari Lennox dropped her single Bound, as well as her mixtape, which she released herself, Five Finger Discount. In the year 2015, she performed in Omen's Elephant Eyes Album, which came out on the 21st July. released on the 21st of July. In the following year, her music circulated around the Dreamville group as J. Cole wanted her to collaborate with him on some possible references for Rihanna. The official signing ceremony was held by Dreamville Records on 8 December. Backseat is a song that she recorded with Cozz for the collaborative album Revenge of the Dreamers II. In the month of October the singer-songwriter released her debut EP Pho. Ari Lennox appeared in J. Cole's Change track, and performed on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour 2017. In 2018, she was able to appear on two of her songs along with labelmates EarthGang on Nothing but the Best and Bas on Icarus. Ari Lennox dropped her first song Whipped Cream from Shea Butter Baby on July 16. A music video followed followed by a video in September. On November 9 she released two singles titled 40 Shades of Choke and Grampa. On November 13 she dropped two more singles titled No One as well as Pdigree. She appeared with Cole in her Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby, on November 16and later she released the song in a solo version for the album she released her debut. The track was accompanied by the music video which debuted that was released on February 20, 2019, and it surpassed the milestone of 3 million views on YouTube in its first seven days. As a supporting act she performed together with 6LACK in December 2018 on The From East Atlanta With Love Tour.
